Applications:

In the petroleum industry, it has multiple uses, such as a solvent for resins, greases, oils, fatty acids, hydrocarbons, and alkaline hydroxides. It is also used as an extraction medium for solvents, in the manufacture of intermediates, organic derivatives, and dyes. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used in the production of synthetic drugs. It is also used in the manufacture of elastomers, detergents, cleaning solutions, coatings, cosmetics, antifreeze, antiseptics, and medicines. Alcohol can be used as an antiseptic on living tissue and also as a disinfectant on surfaces and objects. Its germicidal mechanism does not vary depending on the surface of application.

Precautions:

Never use on eyes or mucous membranes. If this occurs, wash the affected area thoroughly with plenty of water. Do not ingest. Do not induce vomiting and seek medical assistance. They are flammable.
